Builder Gel Colors — Professional

Builder Gel Colors is a sculpting builder gel from our PROFESSIONAL line for strong, durable nail extensions and overlays and for strengthening natural nails. Its flexible, self-levelling consistency works as both base and builder, allows precise shaping with minimal filing, and offers good adhesion and flexibility to reduce lifting and cracking. Cures under UV and LED lamps, for use with nail forms or tips.

HOW TO APPLY
• Assess the condition of the nails first and choose the technique accordingly.
• Disinfect hands and nails (Pro Sanitiser). Push back and trim excess cuticle (or use an e-file with suitable bits), then buff the nail plate with a very fine file or, preferably, a soft buffer.
• Cleanse and degrease the whole nail plate, including the side walls, with Cleaner. Do not touch the cleaned nail.
• Base: apply a thin layer of Builder Gel Colors (or Hard Base) and cure for 30 s in a UV / LED lamp (48 W+).
• Build: place a bead of gel on the cured base and spread it lightly, keeping more product in the centre along the whole length and less at the sides; refine around the cuticle with a detailer brush. Turn the finger upside down for a moment so the self-levelling gel forms the shape, then cure immediately — 90 s in a UV / LED lamp (48 W+) or 2–4 min in a UV lamp.
• Finish: apply colour gel, gel polish or decoration, or keep the natural look with top coat only. A top coat (gloss or matte) is recommended for scratch protection. If filing is needed, wipe off the tacky layer and buff the whole nail before applying top. Without a no-wipe Dry Top, wipe off the tacky layer at the end.
• Massage cuticle oil into the cuticles; finish with hand cream if desired.
• Weak, damaged, brittle, dry or very oily nails: after cleansing, apply Primer (dehydrator) and then Bonder (adhesion layer) and let it air-dry briefly to a sticky surface. Apply a thin base layer and cure 30–60 s, then build and cure as above.

REMOVAL
The gel is not fully soak-off and needs to be filed off. Wrapping the nails in remover foils with remover for at least 20 minutes softens the gel and makes filing easier and gentler. On natural nails without Bonder, removal without filing may be possible once the top layer is filed through — this depends on the materials used, layer thickness and nail condition.

SHELF LIFE & STORAGE
3 years unopened; 12 months after opening (with recommended storage and use). Store tightly closed at room temperature, away from heat, direct sunlight and UV / LED lamps, which can partially cure the product and reduce its performance.

SAFETY
• Not suitable for children. Keep out of reach of children.
• Avoid skin contact; do not apply on the skin or cuticles around the nail. If this happens, wash with soap and water before curing. If skin irritation occurs, seek medical advice.
• Avoid eye contact. If it occurs, rinse with water for several minutes and seek medical advice if irritation persists.
• Do not use if you are allergic, or have previously had an allergic or other unusual reaction to nail products.
• Always use disinfectant and protective gloves during application.
• Protect from heat.
• Ensure good ventilation / extraction at the workplace.
