Skinny Base — HEMA, TPO, IBOA, IBOMA & Di-HEMA Free

Skinny Base free of HEMA, TPO, IBOA, IBOMA and Di-HEMA is a dense, self-levelling gel polish base. It adheres strongly and strengthens the natural nail, extending wear without supportive liquids such as Nail Prep or Bonder. After wiping the tacky layer it has its own gloss, so it can be worn without a top.

HOW TO APPLY
• Preparation: remove old material, tidy the cuticle, degrease the nail with cleaner, buff gently with a very fine file (including nail walls and cuticle area) and remove dust with cleaner without touching the nail.
• Apply one layer of Skinny Base, brushing in three strokes and sealing the free edge; cure 60 s in a UV/LED lamp – four fingers first, then the thumb held straight. Do not touch the tacky layer.
• Apply a second, building layer of Skinny Base and cure for at least 60 s (longer for thicker layers).
• Either wipe the tacky layer carefully with a gentle cleaner for a glossy finish, or apply a no-wipe gloss or matte top and cure 60 s.
• Massage cuticle oil into the cuticles and nail walls.

REMOVAL
File off the top layer, then wrap each nail in foil with a pad soaked in Hybrid Remover, pressing firmly, for at least 10–15 minutes. Lift the softened material with an orange stick; if needed, re-wrap for another 5 minutes, then buff lightly and wipe with remover. Removal with an e-file is faster but only for experienced technicians – risk of injury and of thinning the natural nail.

SHELF LIFE & STORAGE
3 years; 12 months after opening when stored and used as recommended. Keep tightly closed at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and from UV/LED light sources (also outside the lamp), which can partially cure the material and reduce its performance.

SAFETY
• Not suitable for children; keep out of reach of children.
• Avoid skin contact – do not apply to the skin around the nail. If this happens, wash with soap and water before curing; seek medical advice if irritation occurs. Even without HEMA, an allergic reaction to other ingredients is possible.
• Avoid contact with eyes; if it occurs, rinse with water for several minutes and see a doctor if irritation persists.
• Do not use if an allergic or other unusual reaction occurs.
• Always use disinfectant and protective (rubber) gloves when applying.
