Rubber Base — HEMA & TPO Free
Line
NO:HEMA & TPO
Type
Rubber / flexi base
Curing
60 s UV/LED
Durability
21+ days
Layers
1 base; 2 modelling
Removal
Soak-off, gel remover
Rubber Base from the NO:HEMA & TPO line is a thick rubber / gummy / flexi base for professional use. It adheres strongly, strengthens the natural nail and extends the wear of gel polish; it can also be used to model and lengthen the nail. Fully soak-off for gentle removal.
KEY PROPERTIES
• Formula: HEMA and TPO free
• Durability: 21+ days
• Viscosity: Thick gel
• Self-levelling: Strong
• Strength after curing: Strong / hard
• Curing: 60 s UV/LED
• Layers: 1 thin as a base; up to 2 thick layers for modelling
• Tacky layer: Yes
• Removal: Soak-off with gel remover, 10–15 min after filing the top layer
• System: Rubber Base + No Wipe Top / Top Matte, or Rubber Base + gel polish + No Wipe Top / Top Matte
HOW TO APPLY
• Preparation: remove old material, tidy the cuticle, degrease the nail with cleaner, buff gently with a very fine file (including nail walls and cuticle area) and remove dust with cleaner without touching the nail.
• Apply one thin layer of Rubber Base, brushing in three strokes and sealing the free edge; cure 60 s in a UV/LED lamp – four fingers first, then the thumb held straight. Do not touch the tacky layer.
• Apply 1–2 layers of gel polish over the tacky layer, curing each for at least 60 s (longer for thicker layers – curing takes longer as the formula is HEMA and TPO free).
• Finish with No Wipe Top or No Wipe Top Matte and cure 60 s – no tacky layer to wipe. Massage cuticle oil into the cuticles and nail walls.
• To strengthen or extend the nail, apply one base layer followed by a modelling layer of Rubber Base; nail forms can be used for extensions.
REMOVAL
File off the top layer, then wrap each nail in foil with a pad soaked in Hybrid Remover, pressing firmly, for at least 10–15 minutes. Lift the softened material with an orange stick; if needed, re-wrap for another 5 minutes, then buff lightly and wipe with remover. Removal with an e-file is faster but only for experienced technicians – risk of injury and of thinning the natural nail.
INGREDIENTS (INCI)
Acrylates copolymer, Ethyl methacrylate, Hydroxycyclohexyl phenyl ketone, Bis(methacryloyloxyethyl) phosphate, ±CI 77891, ±CI 77266, ±CI 15510, ±CI 73360, ±CI 74160, ±CI 77007, Cosmetic Glitter
SHELF LIFE & STORAGE
3 years; 12 months after opening when stored and used as recommended. Keep tightly closed at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and from UV/LED light sources (also outside the lamp), which can partially cure the material and reduce its performance.
SAFETY
• Not suitable for children; keep out of reach of children.
• Avoid skin contact – do not apply to the skin around the nail. If this happens, wash with soap and water before curing; seek medical advice if irritation occurs. Even without HEMA, an allergic reaction to other ingredients is possible.
• Avoid contact with eyes; if it occurs, rinse with water for several minutes and seek medical advice if irritation persists.
• Do not use if an allergic or other unusual reaction occurs.
• Always use disinfectant and protective (rubber) gloves when applying.
